Terms of Service
Last updated: May 23, 2026
1. Agreement to These Terms
These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of Botstack, including our websites, dashboard, AI chat, Discord bot creation tools, hosting, deployment, and related services. Botstack is provided by Creavite.
By creating an account, connecting a Discord account, creating a bot, deploying a bot, or otherwise using Botstack, you agree to these Terms. If you use Botstack on behalf of a company, community, or other organization, you represent that you have authority to accept these Terms for that organization.
2. What Botstack Provides
Botstack helps users create, configure, and host Discord bots using an AI-assisted builder. Depending on your plan and configuration, Botstack may generate bot code, create repositories or runtime environments, store bot settings, deploy bots to managed infrastructure, process bot logs, and provide controls for starting, stopping, updating, or deleting bots.
Botstack is not affiliated with or endorsed by Discord Inc. Your use of Discord remains subject to Discord's own terms, developer policies, API rules, and community guidelines.
3. Accounts and Access
You may need to sign in with Discord or another supported identity provider to use Botstack. You are responsible for maintaining access to your account, keeping your credentials secure, and ensuring that all information you provide is accurate.
You are responsible for all activity under your account, including prompts sent to the AI builder, bot tokens you submit, configuration changes, deployments, and actions taken by bots you create or manage through Botstack.
4. Discord Bot Tokens, Secrets, and Configuration
To create or deploy a Discord bot, you may provide bot tokens, environment variables, API keys, or other secrets. You must only submit tokens and credentials that you are authorized to use. You are responsible for rotating, revoking, or replacing credentials when needed.
Botstack may encrypt or otherwise protect sensitive credentials in our systems, but you should not submit secrets that are unrelated to the bot or that you do not want used for hosting, building, operating, or troubleshooting your bot.
5. AI-Generated Output and Bot Behavior
Botstack uses AI systems to help generate code, configuration, messages, workflows, and other bot-related output. AI-generated output may be incomplete, incorrect, insecure, or unsuitable for your specific use case. You are responsible for reviewing, configuring, testing, and monitoring any bot before and after deployment.
You are responsible for the behavior of bots you create through Botstack, including messages they send, moderation actions they take, data they collect, integrations they use, and any impact they have on Discord servers or server members.
6. Your Content and Generated Code
"Your Content" includes prompts, bot names, uploaded files, configuration, environment variables, generated bot code associated with your account, server-specific settings, and other materials you submit or create through Botstack.
As between you and Botstack, you retain rights you already have in Your Content. Subject to these Terms, we grant you the right to use generated bot code and configuration for bots created through your Botstack account. You grant Botstack the right to host, process, copy, modify, execute, and transmit Your Content as needed to provide, secure, maintain, and improve the services.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use Botstack or bots created through Botstack to:
- Violate applicable law, Discord's rules, or third-party rights.
- Send spam, phishing, malware, scams, or deceptive messages.
- Harass, threaten, exploit, or harm others.
- Collect personal data without appropriate notice, consent, or legal basis.
- Bypass rate limits, access controls, moderation systems, or security controls.
- Deploy malicious code, credential stealers, self-bots, token loggers, or abusive automation.
- Interfere with Botstack infrastructure, other users, Discord, or third-party services.
We may suspend, limit, undeploy, or terminate accounts or bots that we believe violate these Terms, create risk, cause abuse, or may harm Botstack, Discord, users, or third parties.
8. Plans, Billing, and Usage Limits
Botstack may offer free and paid plans. Plan features, limits, prices, credit amounts, deployment limits, and billing periods may change over time. Paid features are provided only while your subscription or payment remains active and in good standing.
Unless otherwise required by law or expressly stated at purchase, payments are non-refundable. We may change or discontinue plans, free tiers, credits, or features, but we will try to avoid materially reducing paid features during an active billing period without notice.
9. Availability, Changes, and Beta Features
Botstack may change, suspend, or discontinue parts of the service at any time. We aim to provide reliable hosting, but we do not guarantee that any bot, deployment, integration, model, API, or dashboard feature will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available in every region or situation.
Some features may be experimental, early access, or beta. Those features may change quickly, behave unexpectedly, or be removed.
10. Third-Party Services
Botstack relies on third-party services, which may include Discord, AI model providers, hosting providers, database providers, analytics tools, authentication providers, storage providers, payment processors, and other infrastructure. We are not responsible for third-party services, outages, policy changes, pricing changes, or data practices.
11. Intellectual Property
Botstack, Creavite, our websites, dashboard, branding, product design, software, documentation, and underlying platform technology are owned by Creavite or our licensors. These Terms do not transfer ownership of Botstack or Creavite intellectual property to you.
You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, sell, resell, or exploit Botstack except as permitted by these Terms or with our written permission.
12. Disclaimers
Botstack is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, availability, accuracy, and reliability. You use Botstack and deploy bots at your own risk.
13. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Botstack and Creavite will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, lost goodwill, service interruption, Discord server disruption, or bot misbehavior.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to Botstack will not exceed the amount you paid to Botstack for the service giving rise to the claim during the three months before the event giving rise to liability, or 100 USD if you have not paid Botstack.
14. Indemnity
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Botstack and Creavite from claims, damages, liabilities, losses, and expenses arising from your use of Botstack, Your Content, bots you create or deploy, your Discord servers, your integrations, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.
15. Termination
You may stop using Botstack at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if we believe you violated these Terms, created risk, failed to pay fees, or used Botstack in a way that may harm us, other users, Discord, or third parties. After termination, we may delete or disable access to your bots, deployments, data, and account.
16. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we may notify you through the website, dashboard, Discord community, email, or another reasonable method. Your continued use of Botstack after changes become effective means you accept the updated Terms.
17. Contact
Questions about these Terms can be sent through the Botstack dashboard, our Discord community, or the contact channels published by Creavite.
